Our Escape the Winter Blues 2.0 STEAM kits are packed full of fun, educational, engaging, and hands-on activities. Each lesson contains materials and instructions for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and/or Math activities, all aligned to state and national standards. Our kits were divided between two grade bans, Kindergarten-Second grade, and Third-Sixth Grade. New this round was an option to order either the 7 day or 14 day kits.
A total of 318 Winter Blues 2.0 kits were ordered, containing 3,444 lessons. Many children will have a fun and educational winter break!
Some of our activities for the younger group included fun with chemical reactions, a family game to see who can build the tallest tower of peppermints, learning about polar bears and making a polar bear mask, and building a real foosball game for all to play.
The older group’s kits included activities such as creating birdseed cakes to feed the birds, a couple on different types of coding, electrical fun, chemical reactions, and building their own foosball game for all to play.
