Prairie STEM is at Afrofest 2021 @ Stinson Park

On Saturday, September 4th, 2021, at Stinson Park Prairie STEM participated and sponsored the African Cultural Festival.  The festival was a huge platform with over 40+ vendors, 20+ corporate sponsors, 10 community partners, and connectors that all came together to celebrate the diversity that is in Omaha.  This event had over 3,000 festival attendees.

Visitors learned superpower science which is all about magnetism with Thor’s Hammer. Nathan Van Zante, a middle school science teacher, amazed the crowds with his incredible affinity for combining the magic of science with hands-on demonstrations.  Partnering with FaceBook we provided 400 STEM Lessons, swag, and information about our upcoming camps and classes.
