Our Flying for Fun Drone Workshop is designed for beginners and recreational pilots of all ages who want to fly safely, legally, and confidently.
 
Whether you’re brand new to drones or just want to sharpen your skills, this hands-on class gives you the knowledge and practice you need to enjoy flying the right way.
 
What You’ll Learn
  • FAA recreational drone rules and airspace basics
  • How to safely operate your drone in different environments
  • How to check airspace and fly legally
  • Responsible drone use and safety best practices
  • Hands-on flight time with guidance from experienced instructors
All participants will complete the FAA TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test) as part of the course.

Take your skills to new heights with our 3-day Drone Bootcamp, designed to prepare you for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification

This comprehensive course blends classroom instruction with hands-on experience to give you the knowledge and confidence needed to become a certified commercial drone pilot.
 
What You’ll Learn
  • Drone Fundamentals: Learn the essentials of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), including drone components, maintenance, case studies and FAA rules that govern drone operations.
  • Airspace & Flight Operations: Dive deep into the National Airspace System (NAS), understanding charts, weather considerations, flight safety, and mission planning.
  • Hands-On Flight Training: Put your knowledge to the test with supervised flight sessions. Practice takeoffs, maneuvers, and landings while learning real-world operational skills and safety protocols. 
 

By the end of this bootcamp, you’ll have the foundational knowledge and practical experience to confidently sit for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam and operate drones safely and legally for commercial use.
