Did you know you can make your own hovercraft with some plywood, a leaf blower, a tarp, and lots and lots of duct tape? The brilliant students at Nathan Hale Middle School do! 6th and 7th graders were taught basic woodworking skills, practiced their math and geometry, and worked as a team to build a working hovercraft. Curious to see how they work? Come to Nathan Hale Middle School’s STEAM Night on December 15th for the grand hovercraft finale! There will be several STEAM activities along with a hovercraft race!
