Prairie STEM will roll out their new Virtual SPRING-themed STEAM Kits in time for Spring Breaks. There are two sets of kits, one for Kindergarten through third grade, the other for fourth through sixth grade. Each kit will contain 7 hands-on, engaging, fun-filled Science, Math, Engineering, and Art lessons. Each lesson is aligned to Nebraska Curriculum Standards and will enhance students’ STEM education.
Here are just a few of the different topics that will be covered in the lessons are growing seeds, making birds’ nests from recyclables, astronomy, making a humidity/barometric pressure gauge, and tornado preparedness.
