HAL Students at Papillion / LaVista Middle School Students Learned About Different Systems of the Body and to Tie Sutures

Papillion / LaVista HAL (High Ability Learners) Middle School students that were interested in learning more about the medical field had a full day on 1-15 & 1-16-2020. They began their day learning from a video, how to tie sutures using forceps, needle holders and scissors on a piece of foam. Then they practiced their new skills on their shoelaces. The HAL students had a great time with Google Expeditions exploring The Skeletal System with Augmented Reality. Then they paired up and studied a different body system using Google Expeditions. As they studied their system they created a presentation using the Augmented Reality, then presented it.
