Celebrating the Remarkable Contributions of Our Summer Intern, Kevin Ruiz-Gallardo

As we bid farewell to our exceptional summer intern, Kevin Ruiz-Gallardo, on his last day with us since joining in June, we can’t help but reflect on the immense impact he has had on our summer programs.

Kevin’s journey with us began through the Siembra Internship Program, a collaborative effort with the Latino Center of the Midlands. A 2023 graduate of Omaha Bryan High School, he’s about to embark on an exciting new chapter as he begins his pursuit of becoming an ASC Certified Automotive Mechanic at Metropolitan Community College in Nebraska.

One of Kevin’s most striking qualities is his innate ability to grasp mechanical, engineering, and electrical concepts. Right from his first day with us, he dove headfirst into tasks involving fixing, installing, and repairing various elements around the office. His unwavering dedication and remarkable talents have truly been a blessing to us this summer, and his presence will be greatly missed.

As Kevin sets out on his journey, it’s evident that his future is exceptionally bright, thanks to his extraordinary aptitude for comprehending complex issues and systems. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Siembra program for connecting us with the incredible gift that is Kevin and for the invaluable skills he brought to our program this summer.

Kevin, as you embark on this new adventure, please know that you leave a lasting legacy here, and we couldn’t be prouder of your achievements. THANK YOU, KEVIN, and a special thank you to SIEMBRA for this wonderful opportunity!
