Mae Edwards is Learning About Landforms with Prairie STEM’s Virtual STEAM Kit

Landforms is just one of the 72 Virtual STEAM Kit lessons that Prairie STEM has available. Prairie STEM’s Virtual Activity Kits are hands-on, educational lessons for school-age students. All lessons are individually packaged with an insert showing the list of materials included in that lesson. Each box has the student’s grade indicated on the outside. Kits with lessons have been delivered to Howard Kennedy Magnet School in Omaha Public Schools, Oakdale and Rockbrook in Westside 66 Community Schools, and Saint Cecilia Catholic Schools. Each student will have one educational STEAM lesson to enrich their students’ STEM education, for their October school STEAM Night. Each kit contains materials for different Science and/or Math activities, all aligned to state and national standards. Cox Communication’s Connect Space at 75 North’s Highlander Accelerator building has been the home of the kits in the past few weeks where we have finished getting them ready to deliver. Thank you to CoxConnect and 75 North for allowing us to assemble, package and distribute these hands-on STEM kits in their facility.
