Esports Fortnite August High School Tournament 2020

Everyone was on the edge of their seats on Friday, August 7, 2020, when five teams of local high school students competed for the top three places and cash prizes in Prairie STEM’s High School Fortnite Esports Tournament. Games went into overtime they were so close. These students used and developed many soft skills during this event, such as leadership, teamwork, communication, strategizing, work ethic, self-confidence, and inclusion. This was Prairie STEM’s 2nd high school Esports tournament. We are looking forward to more and more students participating in our tournaments every month, rotating a different game each time. Look for September’s tournament on September 3rd, which will be Smash Ultimate. All tournaments are streamed live and anyone can watch them on Prairie STEM’s webpage, www.prairiestem.org. Prairie STEM Esports tournaments are free to participators and spectators.

We want to congratulate the winning teams from this tournament: 1st Place – Panda, 2nd Place – 1st Place, and 3rd Place – Pure.

Congratulations to all who played! You did an amazing job! See pictures from the tournament below.
