Prairie STEM is at Highlander Community Day on August 27, 2022
Prairie STEM had a booth on the top floor of the Highlander Accelerator building where we provided 5 Virtual Reality headsets to play Beat Saber as well as some other apps. Our new robotic dog, Bingo, happily greeted the community.
Second-grade students at Howard Kennedy had fun in hands-on lessons on pollination and seed dispersal in August and September.
The second graders created their own bees for the pollination lesson and observed how the body and legs of the bee are specially made to attract pollen. We have 8 camps running this week: Space Camp, Coding Language of the Future, Inventors Camp, Trifecta, Rocket Camp, Robot Camp, and Resin Jewelry.
