Virtual STEAM Kits Delivered to Prairie Lane for Their January STEAM Night

Prairie STEM delivered over three-hundred STEAM kits to Prairie Lane Elementary School in District 66 on Monday, Jan. 11th, 2021. Our Virtual Activity Kits are fun, hands-on, educational lessons for school-age students that enrich their STEM education. Each student’s kit is aligned to state and national curriculum standards. All lessons are individually packaged for each student with instructions specific to that lesson. Also included in that lesson are the materials needed to create, experiment, and master that Science and/or Math curriculum standard. Kits with lessons have been delivered to Howard Kennedy Magnet School in Omaha Public Schools, Oakdale, and Rockbrook in District 66. Metropolitan Community College DoSchool North Express has received 630 kits. Cox Communication’s Connect Space at 75 North’s Highlander Accelerator building has been the home of the kit-building process. Thank you to CoxConnect and 75 North for allowing us to assemble, package and distribute these hands-on STEM kits in their facility.
